- Steering Committee: The Steering Committee is a group of five members that reviews our working documents, specifically our by-laws, financial policies, and strategic plan this year and will be proposing changes to those working documents. The election is open to all and we will be taking nominations off the floor for candidates.
- Fiscal Committee: The MSCSA fiscal committee is a group consisting of The MSCSA President, Treasurer, Executive Director and two Governing Council members. This group approves all expenditures between $500.00 and $5,000.00; oversees the associations expenditures, and reports to the Governing Council and General Assembly about the financial status of the association. Nominations will be taken during the Governing Council meeting and is open to standing Governing Council members only.
- Presidents’ Group Vice-Chair: The Presidents’ Group serves as an informal group to look at the best used practices with campus student governments across the state; assist with communication of the association's initiatives to member campuses, the vice-chair will also serve on the Governing Council when needed. Nominations for Presidents’ Group Vice-Chair are open during the Presidents’ Group meeting and are open to campus student government presidents only, however campuses delegates may vote in the election.
- Student-at-Large Platform Alternate: The Student-at-Large alternate for the Platform Committee will serve in place of the standing Student-At-Large when needed and will represent the minority opinion on the Platform committee. Nominations for the Student-at-Large Platform Alternate will be taken during the Governing Council meeting and is open to all.
